Turn L36 into 4410 - can it be done?

I'll be looking up the specs and driver sizes to see about the PHYSICAL attributes - fit in the baffle openings, etc - but I was wondering what'd happen electrically.

    LE25-4 vs 035ti?
    LE5-6 vs 104?
    125A vs ??

Somewhere i saw the monitor component list in PDF, but I can't find it now...

I'll keep looking. I just thought I'd throw this out there because I'm sure somebody somewhere has thought of doing this once before.

    Use the 4410 network.

You could probably get by, without changing the woofer. The 125A is enough like the 127H-1, at least in midrange characteristics (ie, working with the crossover), so that the 4410 network should work with it. They actually use almost the same cone kit (very minor differences).

However, you MAY want to try changing the cabinet tuning (port length). This might help in final tuning, to get the 125A to "behave itself" with the new stuff... I suspect you'll wind up with a port length that's a little longer than original (slightly lower tuning), but probably not a lot different...

    Regards,
    Gordon.

As it stands, I have (2) good L36 cabinets with crossovers, 3x 125A baskets with cones that may or may not be workable, one LE5-6 and one LE25-4.

So I'll be watching the Bay for components for both...The tech pub states the 035ti is a good replacement for the 25-4, done in pairs, so I'll take my time and see what I can do.

    Thanks for the feedback, guys.
