If i crossower the 2234H to the 2202H @ 280hz,
then how demanding would the possitioning of
the 2234H be?
The loudspeaker tends to be rather big, it would be great
to mount the 2234H on the side on the loudspeaker..
How demanding is 280hz in possitioning, will there be phase-
problems if i mount it away from the 2202 ?

is it 280 divide 343, as the 343 is the speed/meters

280Hz is high to side mount. Do you have any speakers now and an active crossover to play with. If you do give it a try but I think it won't work to well. I am crossed at 300hz and there is quite a bit down there. Just build the cabinets deep to get the volume. There are some vocals down there can't imagine firring them against the wall with the rest comming right at you. Just don't think you will be able to integrate it.

yes, my guess is that the human voice is between
90hz and 900hz so it would not work maybe!

The distance between the drivers needs to be less than 1/2 a wavelength. (this rule applies mainly for high frequencies)
However, directionality/localisation starts to occur at 100 hertz and above.
Allison, Bose and AR have side firing woofers in some systems. This type of configuration is to minimise room boundary effects at very low frequencies.
They also raise the mid driver to about 1 metre to minimise cancellation from floor reflections @ 300 hertz.
The Vance Dickason Speaker Design Cook book will describe this approach better. Nothing is simple with speakers.....
