What internal wires to use on a 4343

Hi. I'm looking to upgrade the internal wires on my 4343's. In the 18Ti, 120Ti's 240Ti's etc. JBL used 14 ga (I think) color coded wires made by Monster Cable. Does anyone know where to get this Monster Cable wiring in the different colors. Alternatively, are there other wires out there that are superior that you can recommend but won't require mortgaging the house to purchase. Thanks.

I have an XPL-200A clone that has a NOS crossover that uses the Monster Cable wiring. It looks like the same stuff they sell for rear channel runs in the 30 ft lengths. You may want to just take a look at it. I have used 12 awg on the woofers 2235 and 14 awg on the balance in my 4344's. Just get a good guality wire.

    Its the Connections, ...

    not the wire between them.

    Ed,

Focus on connection quality, rather than that of the wire used. Wire runs here are so short, that their effect on the drive signal is miniscule compared to that imposed by the long lengths and small gauges of wire used in driver voice coils and crossover inductors. Use pin terminals for driver connections and other terminal types as appropriate. Crimp and solder (2% silver) all terminals.
Wire insulation should sustain the heat of soldering.
Seal all wire joints, with a 'melt inside' shrink tubing.

    Regards,
