    I'm a lucky man

    Yeah got them!

My 4343 Project is nearly finished.
    And the sound is
I'm totally happy. You guys can not imagine how I feel. It was 20 years ago when I first listened to one pair of 4343s and since then I wanted them but my budget ever told me

    Three month ago I had the option to buy 2 pcs 2420 incl. 2307 horns + 2 pcs 2405 + 2 pcs xover 3143 + 2 pcs original cabinets.

Missing was 2 pcs 2121 and 2 pcs 2231 and this damned lenses (2308)

With your help and hundred hours searching the internet I found 2 K140 baskets let them recone to 2235 and got ..... 2 pcs of 2235A were build (Thanks to Giskard for the infos)

The 2121 was a nut to crack
Again with your help I decided to try 2 pcs of 2012H and again... Wow it worked. Sounds just perfect.

OK OK you might blame me with the painting. But what should I do? Battleshipgrey?

    No!

I needed JBL Blue but didn't have the walnut veener. I decided to do this hybrid and I like it.

Oh yes the level plates.... They are on the way from the States. Finally I found some. As soon as I have them I will change my avatar.

    Again THANK YOU for support!!!

    Hey, Guido...

Those are nice looking - congratulations! Great effort. Play 'em for us!

And, if you stay interested in the JBL Blue, stay tuned - there's at least a few of us out here trying to come-up with some options on that (eh, Mr. Widget? )

"Today I got my K140 reconed as 2235H. Unfortunately ... one makes some fluttering noise."
Say - what ever happened with the "fluttering" sound you had on one K140 recone? Did the shop re-do, or what?

    "Indeed, not!!"

Thanks Bo! I’ll play them and this is for shure!

I placed that fluttering K140 inside the cabinet and checked it with a frequency generator. Result: No more fluttering

Then I A/B’d it with the other one using several frequencys
    Result: No difference

At the Moment I’m fine with it but will have both regaussed as soon as I find a shop which is doing that work for me.
