    Avatar Contest?

Okay, Giskard was king with "The Floydettes", but now I have to admit that Zilchy reigns supreme!

    Who's next? I can't wait........

Well, I took my 1,000st post as occassion to change my avatar.

Unfortunately I had to spray the best part of it due to the fact that some people might feel sexually offended or whatever the right term is We do not have such thing here
If Don allows it I'll remove the "dust".

All I want to show is the electrostat

I'm not about to censor avatars that easily meet decency standards (the avatar in question was a print ad in a number of audio magazines). A more significant issue is using an avatar of a Soundlab speaker in a Lansing forum However, I still wouldn't let loose the dogs of censorship over that one. I would just hope that the current cheesecake avatar fad is just that - a temporary fad. There are enough stereotypes about audiophiles spread in the outside world that we don't have to reinforce them here.

I think it is temporarily Don

I'll leave it as it is. I was just joking.
Soon I will finish a new JBL clone and then back to REAL Avatars.

    BTW:
I didn't like your avatar before the present one (it was only in use 1 or 2 hours)but I love the present one.

I think, in the long run, that we will most appreciate the avatars that have to do with audio and JBL.

Yeah, I agree with Peter. If we did have a contest for best Avatar, Tom's would get my vote!

Oh yes, it could be a nightmare...if that is a showroom full of JBL's, think of all the trouble we could get into there!

I would think that you could find a more creative use for the woofer in that shot... though I think it is still about as inappropriate as a photo of a yellow Mustang.

Now if someone could actually be clever.....

It is most definitely a JBL. She's in the JBL test kitchen.
