    D8R044Ti into 044

    Would a D8R044Ti fit into a 044?

044 and 044Ti look sinilar but you never know.

    I swear I heard Giskard...

Yes it definately will, but Giskard will tell you that they are NOT the same after the fact, meaning ( and you know this) that the Frequency response, impedance and prolly a couple other things I can't remember right now are not the same for an 044 and an 044ti. I firmly believe that Giskard would say that you would need to alter the crossover network when changing from an 044 to an 044ti.
Hopefully he will chime in with an "I agree" or "I disagree" .
He talked me out of the 044ti for my L96/4313 clone in his very special way.

    Hector!

The crossover thing is clear. I just wondered if putting a 044ti dia into a 044 core leads to a 044ti.

Nope, different "baffles" cast into the frames.
