I opened up my L110s and was surprised to find LE5-6 midranges. I expected LE5-10s. Any comments? Also, I happen to have these LE5-2s laying around... Might I like them better in the L110s? They are really superb speakers as-is.
Thanks,
Ken

Of the three you're mentioning, I believe the LE5-2 is the most different - it has a "rising response" (if my memory serves) that will give a different coloration than either the -6 or -10.
Do a SEARCH on all the part numbers - there's been quite a number of discussions of these in the past year or so. You might find a response curve, too...!
If your search includes "LE5-2 splendiferous" you will find this:
http://www.audioheritage.org/vbullet...+splendiferous - but I have to go searching elsewhere for the curve.
But, do read the posts, eh?

"Indeed, not!!"
You'll also find the ever-popular LE5 matrix telling what the various versions are and what they were used in....
