JBL LX-55, Who made this??? HELP!!!!!!

    Hi JBL Experts!!!
I have a Pair of Loudspeakers model: JBL LX-55 serial#: J215-04579, which were manufactured in 1989??? (I was informed that the Model JBL LX-55 was introduced in 1989)
Is there anyway to know the exact Manufactured date?
I just took out the 10" high polymer laminate woofer.
The Part number is: B9E-JBA or B9E-J8A.
On the back side of the cone , I could read the number 70444.
Was the woofer originally manufactured by JBL? If YES then when?
Could we find out the info of the drivers based on the Part number?
Please give me the LINKS to get the manual and technical information for the model: JBL LX-55.
Thanks so much for your help.

That's part of their consumer line - a little more info can be found here: http://www.jbl.com/home/product_supp...ProdId=LX55BLK

It looks like the manual isn't available. Those woofer numbers aren't the same as on the parts list there, but that's fairly normal, especially with the consumer stuff. Can you post a pic of them?

I thank you so much for the link.
Do you know more links, so that I could get more informations about the JBL LX-55?
How do we know that the Drivers were originally manufactured by JBL?
How do we know the manufactured date based on the serial number and/or part number?
    Thanks.

    Thank for JBL LX-55 Informations

Hi Senior Member Mr. Herve M.,
I thank you so much for the information about the JBL LX-55.
Based on the Specs, the Woofer's Part Number is 410G.
The Woofer's Part Number on my pair is: B9E-JBA or 89E-J8A.
(I could not differentiate between JBA and J8A).
Only the Tweeter's Part Number matched with the specs, which is A026TI.
Please give some comments about my JBL's Pair.
Is there anyway to know if the Drivers were manufactured by JBL, based on
    Part Number?
The serial Number of my JBL LX-55 is: J215-04579.
I look forward to read your comments and opinion.
Thanks so much for your help.
Attached is the Pictures of my JBL LX-55 Pair.

Hello, 410G , 026ti , etc is the "name" for the driver.

"b9a-jba" is the "part number" for jbl list. It's different.

The name of one driver is unique, the "part number" is variable.

    No problem .

    Hervé
