    4315

    Gents,
I'm new in the forum and the reason why I decided to sign is my big love for "our" JBL speakers and especially my personal love for the 4315 monitors.
I still remember their sound ..... even if I could not listen them again since years now ...
Pls. consider that my job is to run an hi-fi company (!) and that we started by doing loudspeakers ....
Despite this, I'm still convinced that the 4315 are - probably - one of the best system ever done to listen music in home-sized room.
Anyway, I'd like to get any comments, opinion, feedback from all of you eventually interested in this new thread.
I'm also looking to purchase a 4315 (possibly perfectly original and the first revision with the alnico magnets drivers): can anybody help me ?

Does anybody have the orginal plan for the cabinet of the 4315 ?

One thing I don't remember: were they left and right mirror design or not ?

Looking forward to hear from you all.

Grazie mille e Ciao ... how we say in Italy

    Hey, "sap"...

Here's a Link to the 4315 brochures on the JBL Pro website:

    http://www.jblpro.com/pages/obsolete.htm

Look down the page under "Studio Monitors" - you'll see the 4315 and 4315B there. Click for viewing/saving the .pdf's.

(it's kinda quirky to navigate... )

The website is occaisionally down - if so, and you're in need, send me a pm with your email and I can email them to you.

For being "new" to the forum, you sure figured out that "Poll" feature mighty quick Ha!

    Good luck,

This excerpt speaks to the cabinets being mirror imaged (without saying "mirror imaged").

thank you for your quick answers .....

As far as the original PDF from the JBL WEB, I had it both.
I even own an original JBL monitors brochure of the 80' with the data of the 4315 B.

As far as the "mirror" or left and right design ..... it is not sure they were yet !

I'm waiting for somebody owning one pair of 4315 !

Any input on the availability of the speakers used in the 4315 ?
(p.S. I know what is in JBL WEB but the 8" and 10" woofer data sheets are missing ...).

    Grazie mille e Ciao,
    Vincenzo
