    Altec edge treatment

Does anyone know anything about Altec edge treatment. It is almost like a doping epoxy and it is touleane hexane based. I have a little left and I dont know where to get another can of it. If anyone has a clue that would be cool.

It's not the exact same thing, but the AA75 "cone damping" treatment from Waldom seems to work very well for this. VERY close to the original composition, and has the same acoustic and visual effect. Only difference, is that it doesn't stay as "gooey" as the original goop. I've used AA75 extensively on Altec and JBL drivers, and it's worked just fine for me.

    Regards,
    Gordon.
