John: Yes, K=AlNiCo, E=Ferrite, The E series handle more power, but some musicians prefer K's, it has been discussed here amply, and producing against re-producing sound is a matter of personal taste, these lines of speakers are lots of times overdriven on purpose (against JBLīs recommendation), but what counts is if You like it, E's have about 50% more power handling.
Well I just checked out the library and according to the info there the power handling is the same from the "K" to the "E" ????
Theile/Small parameters state K-120 @ 100 Watts max, E-120 @150 watts
