    Dayton Capacitor Questions

Has anyone used the Dayton polypropylene caps from Parts Express? What were the results? I will be recapping a pair of L19's.

"If I were you I would just bypass your current stock JBL metallized mylars and NPE's with the 0.01 uF AudioCaps and give that a listen first."

I've got a few of those 0.01 uF AudioCaps on the bench now maybe I'll do likewise while reconing the 116H's. Is that the 3101A schematic?

"I always liked the little L19/4301."

Me, too - anxious to get these (re)done.

"I'm anxious to see what you think of the AudioCaps."

Me, too. This 4301 wasn't intended to be "next", but the entire project sequence is awfully upset anyway, so I might as well go here, first - I'll get more AudioCaps for the original plan.

Simply two to bypass (10358 and 57529), right? And what's the max watts / temp you'd suggest for the iron?

I plan to A/B the pair, on the bench...
