    Too expensive to get them there:

    WAY too big and heavy for a railway flat car, they'd hafta come by ship through the Panama Canal....

    Maybe you are right. It appears a pair were shipped across the Pacific to Sydney Australia instead of going through the canal. Noticed them on the local eBay if anyone is interested
