    opinions on L-!66 vs 4312A's

I have a pair of 4312A's that I bought at a tag sale for $35. Had to replace a woofer that had been damaged, but the cabinets are a solid 9 out of 10. These things rekindled my interest in Hi-fi! I've owned Vandersteen 2c's, KEF 304's, and most recently Fostex FE-166's in back loaded horn enclosures, but I've not enjoyed listening to music more than with these things!
My question is , would the 166 Horizons (or L-65 Jubals) be a significant upgrade from the 4312A's? I'm not able to make the leap to a larger box than this (WAF issues), as even the Vandersteens caused problems. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

    'Great deal on the 4312A's!

Both the L166 and L65 will have deeper lows - that's the most significant difference I think you'd notice. The L65 also has the 077 slot radiator - some people prefer the dome radiators like the 4312A and L166 use.
