    JBL L5

    Hi..i have a jbl l5 woofers that i need to resurround but i bought a 8" inchs surrounds from ebay but its slightly bigger? here are some pics..where can i get the right size ...or the jbl l5 woofers really 8"? please i need some advice..thanks

    JBL doesn't actually provide surrounds, the proper technique is to do a recone - but ... considering the much higher costs of reconing, surrounds happen.
    I redid the surround on my 2235 (15 inch woofer) last year and had fine luck ... have you searched the site here to see how others have replaced the surround on their woofers?

    A couple of different vendors sell "surrounds" on ebay. Some ebay vendors sell good parts and stand by their sales, others may be questionable at best ...

    There are no recone kits for those drivers. If they go you replace the driver.
