Hi Don:

Is this his present system? It reminds me of the looks of the early 70's and certainly his electronics suggest's it....Dynaco gear all around including ST400 and ST120 amps Pat 5 preamp and also dynaco tuner. I also had most of this stuff at that time really there was no better except for the old tube stuff and Audio Research(expensive). The JBL drivers are up to present standards but the early dynaco SS gear is very grainy and could use update. This wall to wall custom cabs remind me of the Playboy Mansion set up of the same time period as per TV. Don't get me wrong this system except for being a little grainy sounding should still kick butt but it would be so easy to update!!! As you know SS stuff got a lot better in late 70 and 80s. It is his current system. It definitely dates from the 70's, but the picture he sent is only a couple of months old.
