L150 restore or kick up a notch or part out

I have a pair of JBL L150's that are in need of a full restore. I can buy a pair that have been restored with all new suspensions and the tweeters where recently upgraded and the finish was done in a beautifull bombay red mahogany for $750 for the pair. Or is there a way to kick mine up a notch so they will sound awsome! Or should I part them out on ebay, and buy the ones for $750 Thanks for the HELP in desiding! Also I have a pair of L96 can these be kicked up a notch?

    To what pray tell?

L150 with the black 033 or L150A with the silver 044?
If you have the L150 and it isn't cutting it then part it out.

If the L96 isn't doing it for you anymore then:

    1. charge-couple the crossover networks
    or
    2. upgrade to the 104H, 044Ti, and N120Ti
    or
    3. upgrade to the 104H, 044Ti, and charge-coupled N120Ti

If the L150A isn't doing it for you anymore then:

    1. charge-couple the crossover networks
    or
    2. upgrade to the 128H-1, 104H, 044Ti, and N120Ti
    or
    3. upgrade to the 128H-1, 104H, 044Ti, and charge-coupled N120Ti
