    JBL LE25 repair

What started out as a simple replacement of the foam rings on my JBL L100 tweeters has turned into a real debacle...
One of those hair thin wires on the outside has broken and unfortunately the break is on the cone side & there's not enough exposed to solder.
Are things things repairable? Any suggestions appreciated..

    Repair

I did exactly the same thing to mine. Leave it now before you destroy the paper, it is possible to get it repaired, a professional repairer will do it. Wish I had known before I wrecked mine. Ended up buying a pair on here.
