    Newbie With Century 100 Question

    Hi,
Just picked up my first pair, and I must say that all the good things that I have heard are true.

The foam (?) rings around the tweeters are sort of rust colored, and are dried to the point of flaking. I gently pushed in on the rings, and they seem hard, just the opposite that I expected.

    Here are my questions.

Can I replace the rings? If so, is there a "How To Guide" available online?
    Are rings available?

There seems to be a lot of different part / model numbers for the components.
How can I identify exactly what I've got.

    Thanks to all.

Can you pull the drivers and supply model numbers with photos?

The rings are available from JBL Service. Be careful when you remove the old ring - the tweeter lead wires are just below the adhesive.

    Thanks.
I went to JBL Service, but could not find my speakers.
Under which category are they listed?

Sorry about the very basic questions, but I was an AR 2ax guy before these.
