Never heard of it before. Is it any good? What type of music is on it?

I would assume it's classical. John was the Director of Recording for Delos, a small classical label. He won a 2001 Grammy for his engineering work with them. I believe he is no longer associated with Delos.

There is an Engineer's Choice 2 by John Eargles available from Delos, containing several classical passages from a wide variety of composers and musicians. I suspect this would be much like the "best of my favorite passages".

I've crafted CDs myself along that line...........not the music.......just the physical CD containing the music.
