You looking at the RLA Emerald on Ebay?Originally Posted by louped garouv
That may NOT be an RLA, the cabinet is different, in many ways! It is a big folded horn, but its not the way Richard made his!
Sorry to bring bad news!

but crating and shipping may get a bit expensive -- especially for a potentially non-genuine article, the fact that teh seller refuses to crate and arrange shipping also makes it more hassle than the cabinet is worth to me....
I bet the reserve is way up there too....
thanks for the heads-up.....
I would like to recreate some RLA bins for my basement (or BASSment).....
I have searched the web, but without much luck....
He wants a grand for the cabinet, $1000 with BIN!

There are no plans, only a few people have that, they will build cabinets for you, though!Originally Posted by louped garouv

i actually have temporarily gone in a "more reasonable" direction.
(four EAW SB48s)
hopefully i'll have a larger space for RLA type cabinets in the near term...
and I had talked to gary in the meantime, seems he really liked to provide cabinets for his installations only at the time...
