I've taken them apart myself (out of necessity) but haven't found a replacement foam part short of amputating the tops off egg-crate foam packing material.
Taking them apart was not the hard part!
Here's a photo of the inside I posted in that similar thread which shows the original 40-year-old foam plug quite recently:
