    Fostex T925 disassembly

Does anybody know how to remove the horn of this supertweeter for cleaning and polishing? There are 3 screws on the back but I'd rather not have to realign the diaphragm or have the driver fall apart.

I know with the 075/2405 it's possible because the phase plug holds the diapgragm in place, not sure with the fostex.

I've seen both, thank you. Looks like the diaphragm is being centered by either the phase plug in the middle or some kind of shim?

Gorgeous drivers, I'd say quality wise closer to TAD rather than JBL, the whole horn assembly and phase plug are machined brass.

It looks like the diaphragm is sitting recessed and thus self-aligning in the driver, the phase plug doesn't seem to press against it much (if it all).
