JBL C70 Alpha Passive Radiator Question

I was clearing out my storage locker and came across some PR12's and crossovers for the Alpha's which I forgot I had. Since I have a spare set of L100 components, I was thinking of building a pair of enclosures utilizing the PR12 and Alpha networks. My question is, can I mount the PR12 in the rear of the enclosure? I would of course maintain the same enclosure volume as the C70 but I would like to get creative with the design of the cabinets.

You can put the passive radiator an the back, front or sides. Doesn't matter only works through the tuning range. Acts like a port.

If there is any midrange bleed through the cone better not facing you.
