JBL Records Are Not Found By A Song Indentifier App

Linda's caregiver has an app on her phone that identifies songs that it hears. She will often turn it on when I am listening to something she likes to find out what it is. So I decided to put it to the test. She said that it had NEVER failed, though a couple real oldies took some time.

I put on "Everyhead, a Rock Opera" that our singer helped produce back in the day. Sales were very low. But it found it and even displayed the cover art.

OK..., how about "Malibu, Enjoy Yourself"? This is a 45 produced by JBL for use in their '70's demonstrations and given out to attendees. NOPE!!! Not there and boy was she suprised!

OK, how about the Hoyt Axton cut "Captain America" from "Sessions"? This is a double LP produced by JBL and given to attendees in their '70s demos. Again, not there!

Does the app work with ASCAP and the other one? Maybe JBL didn't bother with those rights..

They were not commercial releases although Sessions definitely had copyrighted material?? Could be the releases were so small or not in some "category". I have a copy of Sessions somewhere does it have a record label like Warner Brothers on it?? Or just JBL ?? If it's not released on a label maybe that's why.
