What is a Lansing Heritage Gold member?

I was browsing through the members list, and we have junior and senior members, but one listed member, Speakertown, is listed as a Gold member!

    What is Gold member status?

(Seriously, since the latest upgrade we can choose any title we want IIRC.)

I`m hoping Gold member status comes with strip club priveledges, where the members get to listen to JBL, while having lap dances from beautiful nekked women, wearing orange !JBL thongs, of course.

As I recall, didn't Don say he could change the "title" via request? Personally, I like the standardized ones, or else everyone and his brother would be something different... I do think more categories would be nice.

It looks like anyone can change their status to whatever they like. If you go to User CP -> Edit Profile the top of the page will have this:

Custom User Title<TABLE cellSpacing=3 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD colSpan=2>This is the title that appears beneath your name on your posts. Check the 'Reset' box if you wish to use the the default title for your usergroup and post count.</TD></TR><TR><TD>Your current user title is:
    Junior Member</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

That was an option on the prior version, too. Giskard was "JBL Techbot" for the longest while. I was "Other" - my personal favorite...

    Hi All,

for my opinion all members need some kind of "selfcontrol" with the use of the member status option.
I can imagine that the members with postings of more than 1000 are ready to wear the gold .....

I have had transfers for $50K USD lying about for more than a week:

Any bank loves to juggle Your money.

The more confusing, the better for the banks.

    Never triangulate.
