    Looking for info on the "A" model

    Hello all;

    I have in my care an ALTEC 689 "A" microphone.
    The audioheritage library offers a good deal of information on only the "B" model.
    The "A model appears to offer multi-impedance, as it sports the five pin version of the XLR connector instead of the usual three.
    Internet searches led me here, might anyone have info on the "A" model which hasn't found its way into the library?
    I know, this is the second time I've asked! But who knows, the "right" person might just see this post and then we all will learn something.

    Thanks for your indulgence!

    Stan
