JBL Control 12SR Restoration Crossovers Compression Drivers

I am a long time lurker first time poster
I just got a pair JBL Control 12SR
the previous owner agreed on 200 € since he told me they work just fine

I got them and unfortunatelly both compression drivers seem to be blown
and wow.. the crossover.. some part melted of all ressistors blown and the residue was rock solid seem to be like this for a long time
and already some repair attemps done on both crossovers.
I called back the previous owner and he ag
both 12" woofers are in execelent condition and have exact measures in Ohms 6.2-6.3
few dings on both plastic cabinets and I gave them both a soapy wash and cleaned all debris with a horse bristle brush
I could use some "plastic renewer" that is used for automobile decks to give it back some shine since these will be used in my office room

I am still waiting for parts

    the crossover is not overcomplicated

So far I spend around 50€ for the replacement parts but a little to much of the Diaphragms
I was not able to find a single replacement for a 13 uF 100V non polarized capacitor and the 5,1uF was the closest to 5uF from Dayton Audio I could get

Any advice where to get 13uF capacitors? Should I use two smaller ones that add up close to 13uF in parallel?

    16,16 € 4x Dayton Audio DMPC-5.1 | 5,1 μF | 5% | 250 V
    8,98 € 2x Dayton Audio DMPC-6.8 | 6,8 µF | 5% | 250 V
    8,36 € 2x Dayton Audio DMPC-6.2 | 6,2 µF | 5% | 250 V
    3,99 € 20x 10nF / 250V MKT Capacitor radial
    3,83 € 4x 20 Ohm 10 Watt Resistor
    3,14 € 2x 39 Ohm 10 Watt Resistor
    24,37 € 4x Aftermarket Diaphragm for 2416-1
    68,83 € Total amount

    Yes.

These will be physically larger than NP electrolytics, but still quite affordable and presumably will sound better.

Just wire them in parallel and you will be good to go.

could not get these for a reasonable price BUT
    Dayton Audio DMPC-6.8 | 6,8 µF | 5% | 250 V
    Dayton Audio DMPC-6.2 | 6,2 µF | 5% | 250 V

bought two of each in parallel 6.2+6.8 = 13

shipping and taxes set me back another 17.35 but these crossover network never were so precisely rebuild

how does that happen in the first place? putting so much power that the resistors melted of the pcb its all gunky and burned

now I have to think about If I want to put the dampening material back in there or buy new stuff without any "flagrances"
