Oil For technics SL 1100A Turntable

The oil for my Technics SL 1100A is in need of replenishment. The Technics user and service manual don't provide any guidance beyond "special oil".
Searching online usually shows 30w non-detergent oil.
Does anyone here have thoughts on this? Thanks.

    4J)SPECIAL OIL (See Fig.1 -4J) )
The bearing parts of this set are designed with an ultra·precise finish
to prevent the generation of "Wow and Flutter".
A special oil has been used to maintain the high·performance efficiency.

    For this
reason, use only the oil included with this set for its lubrication.

I had the same problem with my Sony 2251.
    Went this route:
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/16394543350...YAAOSwNyFfkEoT
But there are other options as well.
(I found a thread on audiokarma that dealt with this topic, don't have that link at the moment.)
Works great for low speed high heat motors, I've found.
Love those speakers - & still have mine!!

Sewing Machine Oil is good for many uses. It is made from Mineral Oil, and is of a low viscosity.

I think generally today, the catch phrase is "synthetic lubes", and I'll agree that good synthetic lubes no matter the viscosity should be superior in many ways.

Such Oils can be found in a variety of places besides auto parts stores, or some specialty oils sourced from the web.

Places such as good Gun or Bike Shops usually carry high quality lubricants.

As for 30W Oil, buy a decent bottle of full synthetic of such from Auto-Zone, find a worthy container to throw an ounce or two in, throw the rest in your car, snow blower, etc.

A few online searches seems to show that Mobil DTE 24 is being used in Teac tape decks with positive results Teac specs it in some older service manuals as an option to their TZ-255.

Thanks I will check with KAB Engineering.

As it so happens my inquiry to Technics produced this response today.

Thank you for your inquiry. You’ve reached US Technics Support site.
Our only Technics/Panasonic Authorized parts supplier is www.encompass.com. You can check if they have the parts/manuals you are looking for.
Anything that is not easy to locate, you can submit a research request through the link below.

Unfortunately, if they don’t have it, you would need to research online, since we cannot recommend something that is not original parts.

Thanks for the information on Anderol 465 but I could not locate KAB engineering but searching for Anderol 465 shows that is popular for use in Pellet Stoves and Wood-burner blowers due to the high temp in those devices.
