    Mounting kits for 15" JBLs

According to my catalogues , the mounting kit for an E140 was called MA15 . But I cannot find an info for a similar kit to deal with a K145 . Any thoughts ?

Right. MA15 kit is explicitly not for the 145 series per JBL documentation.
Screws and T-nuts is all I’ve ever seen used with these thicker framed drivers.

I remembered seeing something in my JBL papers regarding E-145 mounting. Well, not the "nirvana" i might have hoped for, but pretty much confirms what Grumpy wrote.

I'm not sure if this is the mounting kit in question, but with the UREIs the E-145 was recessed into the baffle so the frame height above the baffle matches the 2215 that's sitting on the baffle, and both use the same mounting hardware. I had to resize the picture to upload the image so it's a little fuzzy, but I think you can see the recessed hole.

    Hi rusty,

Yes i do see the contour of the recessed hole.

Clever way to recess the driver in order to fit the MA15 kit on the 145.

Looked at the Urei factory data i have and saw no mention about driver mounting. Many times there's notes regarding certain drivers, but none in this case.

I'm including a pic of the T-nuts size that JBL specifies for the MA15 kit, as well as others. Third line in right column, the 460 and 380, i assume these are the B460 and B380, they skipped the "B"?
