    Model 19 dampening help

Could anyone tell me what the original material and it's thickness was in the lower cabinet? Also which walls should be covered. I read that from factory just the port side and back wall were covered.

    Thanks

The 19's that I used to have many years ago were factory & they had 50mm fibreglass on all surfaces, including the upper horn section.

I remember replacing it at one stage with Dacron wadding, but it killed the sound of the bass & so I put the original fibreglass wadding back in & all was well again.

I did use some black grill cloth stapled over the top of the fibreglass to prevent the fibres from adhering to the magnet structure of the woofers.
