    WTF

Check this out on ebay. Type in "field coil Tweeter". For only $2000.00 you get no permanent magnet no phase plug no horn and no DC supply. Comments?

Life’s too short and the audio snake oil too abundant.

    Fruit of the Loon

OK, I kind of get how various verbal descriptions of a system's sonic characteristics might describe how it actually sounds, such as neutral, forward, warm, etc. But I am pretty much at a loss as to how "Peachy" sounds.

I worked in heavy industry for 43 years as an electrician. That Field Coil Tweeter looks like part of a M contactor that opens an armature circuit on a very large DC motor. 90% of it is missing. He added a plexiglass cover and a diaphragm. But I could be wrong, WHF.

I suspect the missing mass might well have consisted of some special grade of blue magic smoke (or possibly even magic smoke of some other color, ?), blended with extra virgin snake oil, species not divulged for obvious reasons, together in a complex revolutionary process, the specifics of which are highly classified unique intellectual property. Believe you me.
