Voice of the Theatre color, media center project

    Hello all,

Working on a project anyone know of a stock type color that matches the grey voice of the theatre speakers?

About 10 years ago a local theatre was vandalized being an independent that somehow came under ownership of Regal and the digital transition happening at the time they decided to close it. In the process of scrapping it the company hired to do so busted up a number of Voice cabinets and pitched them in the dumpster (as well as the components which I also recovered and cashed in on big time). I dug around and found a couple of sides that weren't too busted up thinking a bookshelf or stereo cabinet. Few weeks ago an 80 inch Sharp at work was heading to ecycle after dying in the middle of a meeting. After they replaced it I bought a new power supply and it went home with me. My existing "low boy" doesn't stand a chance against 140 pounds of TV and is about 8 inches too tall. So here we are my new low boy in process. I want to carry through with the grey painted plywood for the bottom and insides with a nice top.Austin

Shopping at Home Depot I found a Glidden stock color called Black Forest. But the local store couldn't do a quart in Glidden and scanned my scrap piece to get a mix in Behr. I think they got pretty close flat probably would have been best but only had matte and gloss.

Carrying over the 50 year old unprepped painted plywood look. Kinda looks like a cellular horn. The upper shelf is for real 10" record albums.
