Adding 075/2402 super tweeter to L100

I have some early in-line L100s with the LE20 and while smooth it doesn’t do anything above 10k.

I want to retain the all alnico period correct drivers and was thinking of adding the 075 super tweeter.

Has anyone ever done this? Would this be a crazy thing to do?

Might wanna look at the 077/2405 instead. The bullet will blow your head off...conical 40 degree dispersion. Find the network schematic for the L65 Jubal.

Other suggestions would be an LE25 iteration, or possibly go with a modern Morel silk dome MDT model variant tweeter. This might just be a plug and play option. Not much money either.

Morel MDT silk dome! Unconventional here, but nevertheless interesting suggestion to look at. Can't disagree with different or new ideas...

I tried a Morel MDT-33 in mine and the clarity/transparency went up by10.
