    Stacking 4312s?

    Hi,

Anybody tried stacking 2 pairs of 4312s? I was hoping to get more slam from the bass. Can I disconnect the mid and high freq drivers on one 4312 and connect it in parallel to another 4312? This way it will look like a 4312+ with 2 woofers.

    Thanks

    Curious...

Can you achieve the same by working the L-pads down, thereby cutting the MF and HF? Sometimes less is more...

Conversely, find a pair of 128H's and stuff them into that baffle in-place of the 2213H's. This is my favorite non-factory swap...

With single 4312, the L Pads are already at 2. This prompted me to think of stacking another 4312, but only using the woofer. This way I thought maybe the mid and high will be at 4-5.
