New Veneer, Almost ready To Rock !

Restoring my 4435's. I have two different drivers for the horns, 2421A and 2426H. Both have the correct JBL diaphragms in them. I have been using the older 2421's. Is the 2426 a better driver
and should I be using I instead? I know some people don't like the sound of Ti. Thanks, Gary.

Wow, those are looking very nice!

As for the 2421A vs. the 2426H... if they were both new and in perfect condition, I would go with the 2421A any day. I personally much prefer the sound of aluminum diaphragms to the sound of titanium, but since both sets of drivers that you have are now rather long in the tooth, you will have to listen to them and see which sounds better at this point in time.

FWIW: If both sets of drivers have seen a lot of use, it is quite possible that the 2426s will be in better shape since the diaphragms are more durable, don't work harden like aluminum does, and the ferrite magnets are less likely to get demagnetized than the older alnico magnets.

    Ming!
You don't want to keep those speakers once they're all back together, I'll do you a favor and come take those off your hands, and my 4430's, heck, I'll relegate those to the bathroom system! LOL

Keep us posted, will love seeing how these turn out!

Well now there is something of MAJOR interest in the back ground of this photo!

What is the story here? Does it work?

I think you see a 6000 watt Tesla Coil in the back ground not a car. But this is the wrong forum for that.

Yeah the covered car is in the first pic as well.

There is an off topic forum here that you could join but we have certainly gone much further and farther off topic than discussing immense ozone generators here.

I for one would like to know all about it. Even if that is a link to somewhere else. I have completed a secondary and have the materials for to form the primary but it keeps getting pushed into the back when I get busy, and it seems I am always busy.
