found me some 902-16b for a driver update on my valencias!

they sound wonderful. and fit nice!

Very cool. They are incredible speakers just with a little TLC as you no doubt, have noticed! The old 806 series drivers really never did justice to 811B horns.

i use a dbx PA2. cross them at 1450hz. pass aca driving horns, and first watt j2 driving mid woofers. then i have a pair of hawthorne augie OB for the bottom end.

and yes they are!!! very happy with them.

Funny you should mention the ACA amp. I built a pair a couple of years ago for fun and use them everyday on a small system in my living room as balanced monos. I really should give them a whirl on my Valencia 846B.

I just use 1x stereo for horns. i'd think a pair mono would drive these just fine. i like mine!
