    What model is this Altec Driver?

    That larger sized driver was made by TOA.

    Back in the day ( 1970's + 80's ) TOA drivers were very much inspired by Altec ( while other Japanese driver makers mostly copied JBL ).

    I've read that TOA's diaphragms are interchangeable with Altec ( don't have a TOA driver here so I can't confirm that though ).

    Interestingly ( at least to me ) is that TOA alnico drivers seem to have been made by the same company that made the Coral ( Pro ) range of drivers.

    Thanks Earl.

    Now I can research what these are best applied to. Of course having just the one isn't very productive.
    It actually looks more JBL than Altec.
