    LHF, stripped bare of all custom layers ???

    So, the following pic is what I see when I visit this forum.

    ( OOOPPS > there is now no way to attach pics/files )

    It's missing all the custom layers ( & the link-buttons associated with the custom layers ).

    Is this what others see ??

    Does anyone know the reason ( or what's going on ) ??

    I think what you are describing is a DNS error - something in the internet is broken.

    Look for "flushDNS" instructions and see if you can get a new DNS assignment.

    Thanks to both of you.

    Using a different browser confirmed the problem lay on my end.

    Clearing out a particular area of my cache fixed the DNS error.

    Cheers for all that good information !!

    For the record, here is what I saw ( the bare-bones forum architecture );

    It can be worse - sometimes web pages will just look like lists of forums/subforums without even the blue checkbox placeholders in your example. Years of living in the sticks with crappy internet have shown me the seedy underbelly of what can go wrong.

    Glad it's sorted out, Happy New Year!
