Thank you all for your good words, for me it was an exercise in patience and dedication... I have this tendancy of building the rough parts and leaving the finishing. (Painting, sanding, veneering, etc.)
    I'm happy with my effort.

We are discussing stuffing and porting in a different thread, this is the link for future reference.

Ok, so... update for those interested.

First for the low end. After cutting the ports I played with different positions in my living room. Turns out that the first position I put them created a huge dip centered at 49Hz from my listening position, hence the weird "flimsy" bass mostly on bass drums (rock, techno etc.), classical was basically OK.
After relocation I managed to have a pretty flat curve down to +/-32Hz, and dropping smoothly below that.

I still have them Biamped with the original 4345 crossover but since the drivers are very different (2202 and 2426/2370) I had some heavy EQ to make. DSP I use is a driverackPA+, here are the details.

    Crossover LF 150Hz LR12
    Low Limit 20Hz BW6

    Crossover HF 150Hz LR12
    High Limit: Open

    EQ LF
Bell: 30Hz +4dB Q0.94 (that helps flatten the 2044 in an enclosure designed for a 2245, this was simulated in WinISD)

    EQ HF
Bell:150Hz +6dB Q0.33 (to compensate for the difference in gain between the 2202 and the 2426/2370 not taken into account by the original 4345 Crossover)
HShelf: 7.5kHz +8dB S4.5 (for the CD compensation)

    GEQ
2kHz -2dB / 2.5kHz -4dB / 3.15kHz -2dB (to tame the harshness of the 2426/2370 in that vocal range and in classical music)

Now I'm pleased, the sound I can say is very satisfying, I listen to rock, jazz, classical, electronic (everything but country and hip-hop)
The bass is precise and punchy without emphasis at certain frequencies, no boominess.
Vocals are extremely forward, the 2202 is very clean, I have to listen to them with an angle so I'm not directly in front of the speakers (I'd say 20 degrees) and they become very open, soundstage is amazing.
I prefer to listen to them with the 2202 on the outside.
What become very clear right away is the efforlessness in which they deliver insane volume levels, I really have to control myself.

I'm gonna keep on fine tuning and the next step will be tri or quad amplification.

I'll keep adding to this thread

Curious as to why you chose second order crossover filters when you had fourth order available and why you chose the 1/3 oct for the eq rather than the parametric.

    Good question
For now I'm trying to reproduce what it would be like having a full range cabinet (no biamp) so I guess 2nd order L-R seemed appropriate.

For the Graphic EQ, it's only because it was more convenient at the time, I'm still fine tuning.

    Time for an update...

I love them, really. I spent almost as much time fine tuning the EQ and finding the right placement than building them, but at last I can say, I'm very very happy.

They are quite flat down to around 28-30Hz, and not +/- 10dB flat, I mean real flat. I discovered low frequencies in some songs that I had never heard before, like the rumble at the beginning of Pink Floyd "Breathe" on the DSotM album, could swear somebody hit the turntable .

I'm having real listening pleasure and I even started to enjoy some operas, a style of music I used to dislike, the vocals in the 2202 are just amazing.

I found a 4x8 DSP but I still have to tackle the quad-amp aspect, this will happen later, so far I enjoy them bi-amped
That's it, just wanted to share some thoughts

( So, I guess you're no longer thinking the 2370 screws it all up ?? )

PS; I found the same metric for design success ( when opera starts sounding appealing ).

The thing is, the crossover is made for the 2307/2308 which is drastically different from a 2370, the difference between 2421 and 2426 is less dratic but still, the crossover is not adapted for that setup and I did not want to venture into passive crossover calculations and mods since I got all the DSP I want, I stayed with the stock crossover values for the 4345.
So after measuring and tweaking I ended up with a decent EQ. I did a dip around 2.5kHz and it has done a pretty good job with the harshness

Opera, I know, who would have tought
