I search for deals on speakers and I am building a system for a hobby. I was really behind the times and had to catch up on stuff. I am fond of the newer light weight drivers. So far, only the cone drivers. I got several model horn drivers that to me, sound worse than my standard or go to JBL 2" version.
Anyways, I'm using 12" low mids and have a few versions now. The old 2206, and the newer 2262 models. I came across this 2263 that is used in compact subs from JBL. I grabbed it for comparison. It just arrived so I haven't hooked it up yet. I found it interesting how big the 6.5" dust cap is. The 2262 has 4.5" I believe.
