I'm doing some work on the Merman cabinets and noticed that builder used wood screws to hold the 2241s. I want to change these to Allen keys/Tee-nuts. What is the better fit 1/4-20 or 10-24?
Thanks

The 2241’s are factory retained in theater and SR enclosures with 10/32 fillister head Phillips screws which have a head diameter of 0.300”
Barry.
If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.
Thanks.
Then a couple of these should do the trick.

FWIW,
A few decades back I moved all my PRO stuff to 1/4-20 T-Nuts + Fillister headed bolts.
1/4-20 stuff was simply a lot easier to find at the time.
I prefer the Allen key to the Fillister head because I feel there is more opportunity/possibility to put the screwdriver (pressing down) through the surround than an Allen key (turning laterally) when tightening the screws.
I use 10-32 and 1/4-20 allen cap head screws on all my cabinets.
I also use 10-32's to mount my rack equipment with.
