    LE14H-1's

I am curious about the value of a virtually MINT pair of LE14H-1's. These woofers have new correct surrounds and retain their original dustcaps. The paint on the exposed mounting flanges is 100%. I would like to know what they sold for new also. Can anyone help?. Thank you.

P.S. Does anyone know where to find that thread about using these woofers as subs?

    Rare?

Are these woofers available from the factory? There was a thread that someone posted a dual bandpass type enclosure drawing, does that ring a bell with anyone? Please let me know. Thanks.

The cheaper way to get 'em is to recone LE14A's, apparently.

[Got some "projects" on the boards here right now. Heh, heh....]

    Just fishin'

Thanks for the info. I actually own a mint pair of these speakers as seen in the L222's in my avatar. I am going to change back to the OG LE14-H's which I still have. This is due to the lack of midrange extention (steep 650hz roll-off in the H-1's)

Not according to actual curves posted elsewhere here, I don't believe....

    Interesting

I read a post by another senior member that said that the H-1's have "one of the finest natural roll-off's of any JBL LF driver"

    Well, you're NOT alone

That's cool man, at least you found that sub enclosure thing for me and that is a great help. From what I gather, $450-500.00 for some MINT LE14H-1's is probably not too far off the mark. Gonna have-ta think about this one... Thank you Zilch

The LE14H-3 is currently available for $279.93. That might stiffle any attempt to get top dollar for a pair of LE14H-1's unless someone specifically needed replacements for 240Ti's or 250Ti's.
