Need some advice mounting E-120 in Hagström 4x12 box

I am refurbishing an old Hagström guitar box with E-120 drivers.

Drivers are mounted from inside with wood screws. The baffle cutout is 367 mm in diameter. According to The E Series Musicdl Instrument Loudspeakers the cutout should be 281 mm.

I have a few different options here and could use some advice.

Can you replace the baffle board?? You could do rings or put a new thinner baffle board in front of the old and screw and glue in place, once again if you have room.

I can replace the baffle board. It is mounted from the inside with the baffle cloth fastened to it.

An extra board will also stiffen the baffle which is a good thing. There is place. Thanks Rob!
