    Lightbulb altec 802-8g same as 802- 16g ?

Can someone tell me if the ALTEC 802-8g driver is exactly the same as the 802-16g, except for the diaphragm of course?
I'm in the process of building a pair of ALTEC model 19. Only thing I need is another 802-8g, so my thoughts where buying a 802-16g if I can't
find another 8g and throw in the 8 ohms diaphragm!?

Yes, the only difference between the 2 802G models are which diaphragm was installed.

Also, the 808-8B shares the same body and phase plug as the 802G ( and the 808-8B might be easier to find ).
