Refoaming LE 111A whoofers in JBL L110

Hello. I have just joined the forum as I discovered that the foam surround has rotted on both my speakers which are over 40 years old. I have absolutely no experience of this sort of DIY repairs. It does appear that the speakers are otherwise fine.
I live in London, UK and do not know where to source replacement parts for this job. I have seen many references to a company in the US who markets on ebay as Looneytune2001, but the current global lockdown suggests that transatlantic trade will not be easy.
Does anyone have any other ideas of where suitable parts can be sourced in the UK or perhaps elsewhere in Europe? I would also appreciate an opinion as to whether these parts must be genuine or is something generic of the correct dimensions likely to work.
    Thanks
    Jonathan

I would contact Rick in the first instance to check availability. His product is first rate and as exact as you could expect for a 40 year old product.
If there is a delay , I would recommend that you wait it out.
His kits come with a 30 Hz CD to help aligning the cone , full instructions and the correct adhesive.

L110 is a lovely speaker , seems they have served you well.

    Welcome to the forum btw.

Many thanks to both of you for your replies. Yes, I will check out with Rick and probably get him to put the parts aside for me until the crisis has eased somewhat. Also, I had indeed found that step by step guide via the forum, and that was what persuaded me to follow up sourcing the parts to do a d-i-y job

That's the ticket. Once you get your kit if you want a P2P discussion to set you clear feel free to PM me and we can proceed from there.
