    4312 woofer

    Can I replace a 123A-3 woofer with a JBL M112-8 replacement? The 123A-3 is in a 4312 JBL.

    No.

That M112 is, in a nutshell, a crappy, cheap, pressed steel frame speaker used in bottom of the pile PA cabs such as JRX, TR, MPro 200 series, etc. And not a good sounding 12 at all.

I inherited a pair of JRX112M and replaced the M112 with 2206, which wont have the extended low freq response the original 12 in your cabinets.
