    Japan's Hidden Listening Bars

I've had fun watching these videos on YouTube, sponsored by Asahi, about music listening bars. My oldest kid has been bugging me to do a Ramen tour of Tokyo, I may have to agree, on the condition that every night we try a different listening bar. This one uses JBL DD55000's (unfortunately, they don't go into too much detail about the music systems):

That the internet contains a blog documenting your life does not constitute proof that your existence is valid. Sorry.

I stumbled upon this one when I was in London earlier this month. But it is more of a bar with a nice system than a place for ppl to go listen to music. Supposedly the system cost $2 mil GBP. It doesn't look that special. Some of us probably has a better sounding system than that.

    Thanks for sharing!

Both the Japan and UK systems... Loved seeing the systems, the spaces, and the dedication....

That UK system is not your standard DIY throw a JBL 2405 in here and an Altec horn over there sorta system. I'd love to hear it. It looks pretty special to me.

I hope it is still there when next I'm on that side of the pond.

I was probably too harsh given the 2 mil pricetag. Make sure you find a quiet time to go as when I was there it was packed with ppl talking. Ppl were more into their coffee than the music.
