Listening to them now for a few last sessions. Thinking that it is very hard to imagine that the 4367's that I have procured will smoke them!
Hope I am wrong!

I thought the same thing when I bought my 1400 Arrays.
I left my three way active speakers set up where they were and put the Arrays next to them. I listened to the Arrays for several hours and thought, I’m not that far off and went to bed pretty pleased over all.
The next morning I powered up my own efforts and their short comings were glaringly obvious.
I like my Arrays in all aspects other than dynamics, they are soft there. When the 4365’s were released I bought a pair and absolutely love them.
None of this ever got me off the DIY train however. Having better reference speakers has upped my DIY game substantially.
I hope you are glad you bought them and I want to hear about both systems.
Barry.
If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.
Glad to hear your story, as the 1400's are already well regarded!
I believe dynamics are the area that the 4367's can trump my current speakers as well!
So, only an hour into the 4367's, they are everything as advertised and them some!
Glad to hear it.
I have lots of old JBL that I like and still enjoy but the new stuff is hard to beat.
Enjoy!
