    VOTT horns, Altec asylum etc

Hi, who here owns VOTT horns, with Altec, JBL, or any other drivers, or any other variations of altecs?

Please list your drivers and cabinets, and amps it would be good to see all users on one thread.

I would be interested if those in the EU can allow me to visit and listen, I live in London. Would like to get a flavor of different configurations and sizes, as currently I have only heard big VOTTs with 2 515 in each woofer. I would like to listen to smaller compact ones as well.

    Thanks

Not A7s, but Audiomarketing (Mastering Labs) Super Reds, most probably one-off with a one-off electronic crossover and one-off passive eq for the horns.

My homemade Altec system. Cabinets built from minimum 1.5" thick MDF and covered with striped mahogany veneer. 416 woofers; 511 horn lens; 802D drivers; Beyma slot supertweeters; custom built crossover with horn compensation. Amplification via dual Dynaco Mk.IV monoblocs; Preamp is Dynaco, as well.GeeDeeEmm

I have 802D w/ 811 and 803B woofers in DIY cabinets. I built new crossovers (N800D clones) and documented it here http://www.audioheritage.org/vbullet...g-ID-802D-803B

I love them. Using a Fisher X100B right now.
